Classes For Kids

Flexibility classes at WestSide have been a tremendous success since introduced to our schedule last year, with each Student attending having improved their flexibility hugely and being able to use their advanced range of motion in their regular Dance Classes, along with new tricks to show to their friends, having a new found confidence in their ability.

Not only do Students become more flexible, each Class includes a fast pace cardio warm up along with core exercises throughout the Class to strengthen the muscles at the same time and keep each Student fit and healthy.

Along with making the Students visibly more subtle they have gained greater body awareness, they have matured as Dancers by being taught about correct body placement and alignment in Dance therefore having a better understanding of what there are doing in their training as performers.

The Class gives Students set weekly goals of different exercises and encourages them to continue improving as they, the Students see visible changes and developments, this in turn encourages them to continue growing and gives them positive focus.
