Nicola is an Irish Actor, Singer and Vocal Coach working between Ireland and the UK. She holds her Certificate of Figure Proficiency in Estill Voice Technique, a Post Graduate Diploma in Musical Theatre from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London and ATCL Speech and Drama Trinity Guildhall, London.

Nicola is currently a registered candidate to be a Certified Master Teacher in EVT. Nicola represents the Estill Voice Craft Model and is listed on the Estill Voice website alongside some of the worlds most prestigious vocal experts. This unique vocal technique is highly regarded and is currently used in the vocal coaching of successful participants of the UK shows The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent as well as many West End Musical Productions.

As a performer Nicola has had Lead Performance Credits which include: Broícsech in The Cloak (AM Brain Productions); Judith in Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queens (Bottom Dog Productions); Maeve in Whiskey in the Jar (Midas Productions); Maria in City Westside Story (Fredelnick Productions). Other lead roles include Florence in Chess; Mother in Ragtime; Sally in Follies; Valerie in Road; Fraulein Kost in Cabaret; Christina Mundy in Dancing at Lughnasa. Nicola was also First Cover for all lead roles  in Girls Night –The Musical (RCK Productions) and played the lead role of Karen in the Irish Short Film Out of the Blue (Kale Productions) which was nominated as best film in the International Film Festival of Cinematic Art in Los Angeles in 2012).

As a teacher in Westside, Nicola considers her role to be a facilitator in the development of vocal talent that is done in a safe way while instilling confidence by empowering students with knowledge. She believes that Westside provides the perfect nurturing environment that helps students and teachers work cohesively so that this is achieved.
